How could someone love to an extent to sacrifice his/her life for the others? I could understand if that person is our loved one, our children or our good friend. But no, “Christ died for the ungodly”. It is something unimaginable.
8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
It is indeed a demonstration of godly love; not ordinary love we could find on earth, but something comes from heaven.
And Jesus said: 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep…18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord.” John 10:11, 18

When we look at another person, do we see the same thing as our LORD Jesus? The love on the cross is so radically. It compels us to follow Jesus and love as He first loves us.
May we experience His radical love during this Good Friday. And we will give thanks and praise the LORD
